Our exciting licensed preschool programs offers Kindergarten readiness activities for three and four year olds and an early learning program for two year olds.

Children learn by experience. It is our responsibility to provide a stimulating environment where children develop social and emotionally, as well as intellectually, physically and creatively. We treat each child as an individual with his or her unique needs and abilities. Our program provides a comfortable and supportive setting with a focus on the needs and development of children.
Your child is attending a structured but flexible Preschool program. Play is the main tool for learning and expressing feelings. This program follows a daily routine that includes non-teacher directed time and develops in every child a sense of security and well-being. A seasonal theme is also followed and developed in each of our activity centres.
The activity centres include: a creative play area, art, blocks, dramatic play, library, music, sand and water, science, and puzzles corner. Through these areas children receive opportunities to gain new skills, values, and stimulating experiences in a safe healthy environment.

We require at the time of registration
- Preschool Enrolment Form
- Visa/MC information or 9 post-dated cheques from September to May – Made Payable to City of Vancouver
- Proof of Age (e.g., copy of a birth certificate)
- Forms Package completely filled out (we will mail them out after the registration day)
- Current Photo of your child
If you do not have an on-line account already you will need to set this up at least 48 hours before registration day. Please visit https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/vancouver/ to set up an account. Please make yourself comfortable with the on-line registration process. If you are still not comfortable, we would suggest you come #1 Kingsway before registration day and have a front desk attendant walk you through it so you will be comfortable on registration day.
Visa and MasterCard are accepted on-line. Visa, MasterCard, cheques, debit, and cash are accepted for in-person registration only. If you register on-line, you may still pay by post-dated cheques for your monthly payment.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee - $50
Please note: You will pay the $50.00 fee at the time of registration. If registering On-Line, you must click this activity and register the same way as you did for class of your choice. If you withdraw from the program you will not be refunded the $50.00.

# of Classes Permitted
You can register for more than one class, at the discretion of MPCCA.
At this point, teachers are not assigned to the classes; this will not be done until much later. We have a team of four Preschool teachers and all four teachers bring something unique and special to our Preschool program.
At this point our Preschool classes have not been assigned to a particular classroom. The Preschool classes will take place in either the Brewery Creek Room or the China Creek Room.
Children must meet the correct age requirements. If your child does not meet the specified age requirements, we will withdrawal your child from the program and issue you a refund.
2 yrs old – must turn 2 years old by December 31st, of the year they are registering in.
3 yrs old – must turn 3 years old by December 31st, of the year they are registering in.
4 yrs old – must turn 4 years old by December 31st, of the year they are registering in.
Families must give one month's written notice (or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org) to the Preschool Teachers when withdrawing their child from the Preschool program. In order to withdraw your child from the program, you are required to give notice by the first calendar day of the month. For example, if you decide to withdraw your child from the program for September 1st, then you must give one month's notice on or before August 1st. Withdrawal notices are not permitted for the months of May and June. April is the last month to withdrawal, which means your withdrawal notice would have to be in by April 1st.
