Mission Statement The Mount Pleasant Community Centre Association is committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and caring environment where everyone belongs and thrives. We promote holistic health and well-being through accessible programs, compassionate support, and meaningful connections. In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the rights, knowledge, and leadership of Indigenous peoples, and we work to advance that awareness, understanding, and capacity within our community. We strive to build a resilient neighbourhood where diversity is celebrated, care is shared, and every individual is empowered to live a healthy, fulfilling life. We actively pursue partnerships with organizations that complement our core programs and services, enabling us to reduce barriers to access and address service gaps in highly specialized areas. These collaborations help us expand our reach, provide specialized and affordable programs and services, and improve community outcomes. By aligning with mission-driven partners, we enhance our ability to meet evolving needs and support community resilience. Vision Statement A thriving Mount Pleasant where health, connection, and community care are at the heart of everyday life — and where everyone, of every age and background, is included, supported, and recognized. We envision a future grounded in reconciliation, where all human rights are upheld, and where collective wellness is achieved through shared responsibility and respect.
